Thrash's 2005 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe

Exterior 1

Many people own Mustangs.  That's a fact of life.  It's the most popular muscle car in the history of muscle cars.  In fact the Mustang started it all.   However, most people just buy their Mustang and drive it as is.  There is nothing wrong with that.  The Mustang is a great car right off the showroom floor.   But some people just aren't satisfied with the status quo.  Some people take their stock Mustang and treat it like a block of clay.  Molding it into a one of a kind ride that stands out from the crowd.  Enter Jason Thrash.

Jason has a unique satin silver 2005 Mustang V6 coupe.  When it passes you, you think to yourself, "Was that a Saleen?"  "A Shelby?"  Whatever you guess, one thing's for sure, you'll like it!

The car is wrapped with a Street Scene body kit and a Steeda Street Wing for good measure.    Jason added a OEM 2008 Bullit grill.    To make sure he can see the road, Jason made sure the car has Kaixen HID headlights.   Even the radio antenna received some attention with an 8" "shorty" replacing the stock version.

Wheels    The car has an aggressive stance.  With large 20 inch American Racing Burn Series wheels and extreme low profile Hankook Ventus Sports 255/35ZR20 tires.   The Mustang has been lowered by the use of Eibach Pro Series springs.

The Engine

To help the engine breath better, Jason replaced the restrictive stock cold air intake with a model from C&L Performance.    A throttle body spacer by Steeda was used to increase performance.   The engine air escapes through a Magnaflow Catback system and creates a really nice exhaust note.   Reminiscent of a European exotic sports car.

 Interior

Jason is an active member of several Mustang clubs including SouthernStangs.com, SilverMustangRegistry.com, the Mustang Club of America and of course, BamaStangs.com.    From what I've seen, the clubs are privileged to have such a talented sculptor as their member.

What a nice car. I sure like the clean lines of this ride. The black rims set it off for sure. The interior is clean and simple. Love this body style.

Nice car !!
